The knowledge of administering CPR and first aid can save lives. Earlier this year, the world witnessed a medical emergency on the sidelines of an NFL game, where a quick response of the medical team and the application of CPR, prevented a tragedy. CPR training is so important for everyone to learn as minutes matter in such emergencies. The Jog Into January 500 mile challenge is in full swing and it’s not too late to participate and earn some great prizes while getting fit. How does it work? Well it’s free and easy…ok, easy to get started at least. Stop by the rec centers front desk and grab a worksheet. Log your daily miles in the cardio room, in the pool or in any of our fitness classes and get great swag for each 100 miles. You have until April to complete the challenge. 1 mile for 1 mile whether on a bike, treadmill or in the pool. And 2 miles for each fitness class, (free with membership) . Sign up today!
